nice man is so sweet to see a rotary run on megasquirt, its the first ive seen of a rotary running on it, are you running wasted spark a well?

Its definatly not the first, the guy that writes the codes for the megasquirt own an Rx7 so there are plenty. Wasted spark is turned on yes.

I really should update this video as alot of the timing maps and fuel maps have changed and runs alot quicker

i see, i run my prelude on ms1 extra 029y3, though different to a rotary, its such a great ecu huh!

tell me something, we sharethe ame sensor configuration, being dual vr sensor in our distributors, the primary being 24 tooth and the secondary being single tooth, i could not make mine run with the single tooth as a second trigger, i had to make a 2 tooth econd trigger for my ms1 to decode wasted spark - are you running ms2 or ms1, and if you run ms1, did you need to do the same for the 12a?

The crank angle sensor that come with the cars actually is a 24 primary, and 2 secondaries, so no modding was necessary. The only addition I had to do was build a second trigger circuit in the proto area.

@preludefan they did that cuz the original rx7's without the loud exhaust were so quiet they had to put those in.

its the horn. this is the warning buzzer, every generations of rx7 and the rx8 have one. As soons has you are in the redline, the buzzer warns you to shift. Its quite ingenious, helpful and better then a shift light !!
