  • Jim Steinman has a album Bad for Good and if you look through Meats career at least one track from Jim's album makes an appearance. Its a pitty that Meatloaf never made that album because it was ment to be Bat II but Meatloaf had vocal trouble and could not make it. That would of made this Bat out of Hell 4

  • I have found that Steve Vai's solo stuff is overwhelming and gets tiresome after a while, I saw him live and was shredded (haha) to pieces after that one, but when he does this guest apperances you can really feel the raw energy of his music! Brilliant!

  • @gurra9 Steve Vai is actually a genius composer. But yes a lot of stuff happens in his music.

  • Coming from my Dad who don't use internet says when Meat Loaf came out he said it was so outrageous and bombastic to see a large man on the Tv with emotions and sticking his long tongue down a girls throat till she chokes.

  • Would still be impressive, you'd have to admit. Of course, people have come out of retirement before.

  • dio is retired

  • ??? need to look at things again. he's been working with Heaven and Hell, the Black Sabbath reunion group. They did an album within the last year. however, Dio has recently (last few weeks) gotten a case of cancer, so he's going to be out for a while.

  • All meat Loaf has to do now is record a song with him and dio on one of his albums, then he will be the god of music.

  • Kickapoo with Jack Black?

  • steinman is dead and i wouldnt be talking about meat loaf like that he's been having some problems and he's obviously realising he's getting older and it's really hard for him to understand it and he's been doing drugs and things and it's really hard for him so please just dont say anything bad about him.

  • Steinman isn't dead!

  • most of the live footage was taken in the live in melbourne with the melbourne symphony orchestra concert

  • Steinman had a stroke around the time of bat 3 dickheads the next album he will bring aout and as he says he will do it with Steinman

  • what's the deal with the red cloth everytime i see him in something he has it with him

  • I'm guessing its symbolic, of the montser or something.

  • its just his thing

  • keep rockin meat loaf u rok and dont let any 1 tell u different!!!

  • shut the hell up torch wood.

meatloats bad for good rules seriosly people you gotta get over it. it doesnt fucking matter who wrote what, all meatloafs song are awesome and if you dont think so then why fucking both watching this?

meatloaf only did the song without jim was because he was ill, and meatloaf wanted to get it over and done with.

so get a life all of you.

    keeping rocking meatloaf

    you rule.

  • wall to wall vocals??

  • I never knew Meatloaf played the guitar till I saw this, probably why he has such excellent guitarists on his albums:D

  • Amazing Meatloaf and Bat out of Hell trilogy!!!!!!!!

  • Nice songs, I don't like how they edited it.

  • yeah and there is a lot of weird pervs on youtube that are obcessed with pornography.

  • i think they are just advertizers for the website

  • probably the same people who send me 350 junk mail a day.......rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggg

  • lmao i love this album!! it rocks, if u like it listen to it love like i did it wa wicked!!!!!!

  • awesome album,Meatloaf and Nikki Sixx . Say no more

  • Bat out of Hell III is one of the best albums ever.

But I think that BAT 1 & 2 have more potential...

    Meat Loaf ROCKS !

    A living legend !

  • Look a little deeper into Bat III, though. It's an aquired taste. Meat has taken heavy-duty voice coaching to ease his tendancy toward vibrato. The musicianship is AWESOME (and you SHOULD HEAR the TOURING BAND!!) In my opinion, he has transformed from 'vocalist' to 'singer'. I told him that - he was very appreciative for my words - and he himself hadnever thought of the distictiojn between the 2 classifications.

  • Nikki Sixx is god.

  • Nikki Sixx is the f*cking man!!! :)

  • Love it! Go Meat!!

  • yes!

  • lewis1979 es un pendejo

  • that's really cool!

  • cool new bat album

  • Every video I've been seeing about this record just gives me more and more hope as to how awesome this record is going to be. It's amazing how many amazing talents got involved for the cause. Meat Rocks!

  • You'll find the whole new album is quite different from the other 'BAT' albums. Yes, there is a departure from Steinman - and Patti Russo is only on one song (and will not be part of the tour). I find this to be the best BAT album yet - quite a statement from me, as I have been close to the band, through it's evolutions, since the mid-80s. Always full of heavy-hitter musicians, this is also a winner. Meat Loaf's voice is at it's best on this CD. Congrats to him for putting out a masterpiece.

  • I agree with you on that, I also found that when other people heard it that I know they said they were expecting an album full of piano rock songs and that they were blown away with how much heavier it is and how his voice is stronger.

  • There really isn't a 'departure' from Steinman, because Jim is still involved, they just added more great artists to the mix. But the rest, totally agree.

  • dude, fuck off!

  • This only proovs I'm right If you cant think of a diganafied response you stupid uneducated ingrate. Play Meat and Jims Bad for good back to back and then tell me Meats is better.

  • Oh, I'm quite educated, thank you. I tend to lose my temper when illiterate boobs such as you can't catch that they can't spell 'dignified'corrct. Ingrte? Ooh, big words, I.B. So I say again, FUCK OFF! Jim's in poor health, so he coudn't do it, but the album is dedicated to him.

    Learn before you speak, inbred

  • Meats Bad for good is still a fucking piece of shit and he had to cover Celine Dion for Steinman material. If you think this is good your the fucking inbred you stupid twat. Bat 3 had non-Jim songs on it. It's tampering with Jims Never land IMO. Meats a sell out, Desmond Child is about as talented a songwriter as you are holding an argument. Jim was ill but has been well for the past 4 years or so. Plenty enough time in which Meat COULD have contacted him about doing the album.

  • So, if someone you know is sick and can't work, you'd actually make them work? God, you're more than inbred. You're a heartless inbred......and DC is an excellent sogwriter, which shows how I'm kicking your ass in this argument.....I'm going to stop, seeing as inbreds as you cannot read.

    Your sister's callin you!

  • Read my previous post you fucking idiot. Jim's manager stated the Jim was fine and it was Meats doing that caused Jims non-involvement. And the fact you're making personal remarks about me that aren't true just proves you cant hold an argument with me. You just wish we were all sad like you "Fuck off" I will do no such thing. It's my opinion and I am entitled to it. Go listen to some more Mediocre Meat Loaf records you sad bastard.

  • This is true. Mr. Steinman was in perfect health by the time Bat III was being produced. But obviously creative differences aren't interfearing with Meat and Steinman's upcoming CD....

  • I agree with you nearly 100%. It's fucking stupid that Meat Loaf did Bat III without Steinman, it's Steinmans story. The entire thing came from Steinmans head, Steinman is supposed to TELL the story nd Meat loaf is supposed to act like the messenger nd sing the words. If I was Steinman I would've taken it extremely personally when Meat chose to continue without him.

  • Dude didn't Jim Steinman's version of Bad for Good get panned because his voice wasn't as powerful as the song demanded?

  • Can't wait for Bat 3! Let's make it the hit it deserves to be!

  • Thats awesome, thanks for putting on , awesome to see
