  • The reason for the external antenna plug is for people who have a car that has a metallised windscreen.

So that they can put the external antenna at a place where there is no metal in the windscreen

  • wich sat nav best in the world

  • Hi luca2717,

    Thanks for commenting!

The best Sat Nav for us would have to be TomTom's x40 range becuase it has so many features that truly define brilliance. HD traffic is definately one of them as it can give you traffic conditions by the hour you travel rather than just the day as per the x30 range.

Whilst we say this the best sat nav is the one that meets your needs.

    We hope this helps!

    Many thanks,

  • Great video and great explainations.

Anyway, since i'm working in the shuttle company, how many route can we prepare using the 930? or only from point A to point B (one route)? cos i'm waiting for the portable gps system that able to arrange several routes and calculate the distances between them at a time. Many thanks in advance.

  • Hi whisperingvenus,

    Thanks for commenting!

You can use the point A to point B which will only show you one route or you can use the itinerary feature whereby you can add multiple routes but it doesn't show you the distance and time between them all it will automatically start routing your next route upon completion of the previous route.

    We hope this helps!

  • nice overview of this product. maybe you can show us how the community updates work and how data and traffic updates work as well. can it pull data from internet using my smartphone's web browser/connection via bluetooth?

  • Hi invisionz,

We will post some videos about the TomTom community and how to interact with it. This will use any internet/wireless connection available on your PC/Laptop/MAC. It does mean that it may take longer to download the updates via a mobile internet connection but otherwise it will be fine.

If you are reffering to using the built in bluetooth this is only for voice not data i.e handsfree calling.

    Many thanks,

    THMO
