I bought this album for You Stole the Sun having never heard of the band...and stumbled upon one of my favorite albums of all time. I've never really followed the band or looked for their vids til just now. Who's Nicky, Richey, etc? Is there a site I can go to where stuff like this/song meanings is explained?

@DJFLDJFL im sure youve found out by now but Richey is Richey James Edwards who disappeared Feb 1 1995 and has never been heard from since. Nicky is Nicky Wire, his best friend and song writing partner. Wikipedia has the credible info and then they are thousands of fan sits furthing the legend of our beloved Richey. I get my song meanings from songmeanings(dot)net

i put this song in my top 10 manics songs..the bit between 2:13 and 2:20 gets me every time right between the shoulder blades! The song is a sad but hopeful lament to Richey but musically defiant and letting out frustration ending with that blossom tree..waiting to flower once more! Beautiful!
