I still can't believe the commissions let fighters who have been caught using steroids go onto TRT so they can negate a side effect of being on the juice and maintain their roided out forms.
TRT is one of the easiest ways to cheat too, boosting it high gives you great training advantages and it's easy to drop it back down. Marquardt and his doc just fucked up and got caught by ending his cycle a day too late.

@1029Itachi The sport was not as evolved as it is today and there were more steroid users back when he was caught. Whether it caused him to have low testosterone is not certain. Testosterone supplements are allowed under the rules and simply had too much in his system for the testing, not cheating.

@iKLuTcH420 He never took steroids it was an over the counter suppliment that had 2 ingrediants (i forget what they are) that are found in a certain steroid. They showed in a blood test. He stopped taking that suppliment which was legal and over the counter at the time (like something you can get at a GNC) and immediatley took a blood test following. No signs of anything illegal. Steroids stay in your blood for 1-2 months. And he was top 3 middleweight bud always so yeah I'd say he's up there.

If we had more fighters like BJ Penn standing up against PEDs and more fans demanding stricter testing in the UFC we could see change.

@rmathew2 Lombard is in Bellator, but they allow him to fight in other small promotions like: CFC, AFC, and many others, so they he can stay active and prevent ring rust! Either way, Bellator should've signed Nate, instead of BAMMA! It would've been a great addition to their middleweight and welterweight tournaments! All the match-ups I think of: Askeren, Schlemenko, Saunders, Baker, Lombard, etc! (^_^)

Either way, Dana White can be a huge fucking hypocrite! He said Barnett would never be back and now look. Daley might return too! Hopefully he gets Marquardt back too! @rmathew2 Meh....Strikeforce is shit now! They lost Hendo, Nick, Shields, Mayhem, Cung, and Overeem to the UFC! It seems to me that Dana White isn't keeping Strikeforce active, like he said he would! Instead, he will rat out the good fighters for the UFC, and the rest are pretty fucked I guess! In a way, Dana White is starting to become the Don King of MMA now! (^_^)

@iKLuTcH420 He never took steroids it was an over the counter suppliment that had 2 ingrediants (i forget what they are) that are found in a certain steroid. They showed in a blood test. He stopped taking that suppliment which was legal and over the counter at the time (like something you can get at a GNC) and immediatley took a blood test following. No signs of anything illegal. Steroids stay in your blood for 1-2 months. And he was top 3 middleweight bud always so yeah I'd say he's up there.

Yes it's a treatment for ball issues i know. When you test over the limit days before your fight, it makes me wonder how fucking high he would've tested midway through his training camp? If you don't 'take' TRT how the fuck do you get it inside your body? They would need to wear a monitoring bracelet (probably not invented) for us to truly now how often they go over ie abuse it. I'm sure it would be regular, unlike their testes. I don't support anyone who uses TRT or banned PEDs.

I don't dispute that banned PEDs use takes place in MMA. I believe random drug testing in between fights or during training camps would work well at catching the perpetrators. TRT is almost a slap in the face to anyone against PEDs. What it does is give athletes a golden ticket to use PEDs in the open and get away with it. If we had more fighters like BJ Penn standing up against PEDs and more fans demanding stricter testing in the UFC we could see change.
