  • it was not a square room in deadly assassin.

  • brill m8 you have a good mind

  • Hey there! Love your work and admire your passion for a show you obviously are very fond of. I too have a strong admiration for a certain show that is now off the air after its fantastic 10 year run on TV. I am creating a proof of concept/ web series to continue the story myself and I am looking for someone to create a 3D set that I could use with green screen footage. I came across your work and thought someone who took their time to do this because they are a fan would understand my project.

  • This looks a bit more compact than the real one

  • when was that used during doctor who and kind of room was it and what did he use it for

  • @billy2timesfun its basically a smaller version of the main console room but with bronze hand rails, wooden panels and stained glass in some of the roundels. i would like to see it in the new series

  • @billy2timesfun It was used during the 4th Doctor, Tom Baker. It was the auxiliary console room & its used for the same purpose the main console room is, to pilot the TARDIS.

  • They wouldn't use an interior like that, today, because it doesn't look like an abstraction of a giant cervix.

  • Hooray for singing Ood!

  • I always liked this set; such a pity the wood rotted.

  • Well done. Well done. :)

  • Wow...absolutely amazing. Beautiful music to boot. Best console room ever thanks!

  • thanks for posting this. I loved this set as a kid in the 1970s. It's a pity that the wood panels didn't survive storage between seasons to be used more often.

  • Fantastic!!!

  • This.is.fantastic! Putting it to the Song of the Ood was brilliant!

  • Too bad that room was jettisoned by that dumbass Colin Baker.

  • @southport97 No, that was three quarters of the storage hold.

  • @southport97 yeh but according to the missing adventure novels the tardis gradually regrows the lost rooms.

  • Nicely done! And better lighting than the actual set.

  • really brilliant

  • One problem, the door panels on the console had a diamond pattern on them.

  • Speaking as someone who grew up during the Tom Baker years, Good Job!

The Song Of Freedom was a nice touch.

  • The Secondary Control Room is where you take your hot bodied assistants for show and tell; there should be a refrigerator under the console. The TARDIS concept, as it matured, also turned into a small city; with special areas such as the Park of Lovers, the Gathering of Family, and things the Doctor Who can visit as Time & Space is gathered and presented. It begs the question just how Pan Dimension is Doctor Who, as the famous Douglas Adams also wrote for the series?

  • i wish that in this new series with Matt Smith that they show some of the new rooms in the TARDIS cause so far ive only seen the control room and they didnt do anything with the other rooms when David Tennent was the doctor and ive only seen one Classic series episode that showed off the other rooms in the TARDIS and they showed the Workshop, The Pool Room and Some of the Hallways but thats it really hope they do something like that.

  • @fatteenager12 In the Classic Series orther rooms were shown often but since 2005 the only other room shown was the wardrobe in The Christmas Invasion, meaning the last two TARDIS interiors, the one from The TV Movie and the one from 2005 to 2009, only showed us two rooms each. I would dearly love to see what the rest of the current TARDIS interior looks like.

  • Love this so much.

I'm hoping Moffat manages to write stuff into the plot that lets us see more of the inside of the TARDIS. : D

  • Pretty Cool dude! you may work a little in the lighting im pretty sure it would look awsome with some lightning work.

  • Nicely done.

  • I love this control room..

  • Wowsers. These things are normally rubbish but that is excellent. Very well done matey.

  • Doctor Who would be back on TV now if somebody like you were doing it. THE REAL DOCTOR WHO!

The new stuff they're doing is a load of rubbish with the title "Doctor Who" plastered on it.

  • Love these tardises! Nice tribute!

  • its gallifrey

  • It is a shaving mirror.

  • Notice there are no actual exit doors.

  • It actually on only ever appeared in five episodes, plus an illustration in a Doctor Who annual text story and The Mark of Mandragora, A Doctor Who graphic novel.

  • I loved this control room best, the wood and brass and stained glass give it a HG Wells type of feeling. Same they only used it for a short time (it was too hard to move and place cameras around in it) Perhaps the new interior will be something like this.

  • I know i have heard that music before in Doctor Who. Where is it from?

    only in Doctor who though.

  • Beautiful stuff I love it

  • Beautifully done : )

  • It's awesome that you see Gallifrey outside the window (:

  • Brilliant . . . sheer, unadulterated brilliance.

  • If only someone could make an interactive 3D tardis to walk through :(

  • @Richiepookinshoo

Looks like you should go and look for Destiny of the Doctors. It's a PC game from '97. Not very good, but you can play as a giant blob and float about the TARDIS.

  • Aye I've seen that, but I was hoping for something along the lines of Star Trek 3D style, fully rendered with modern technology. It's a wonder if hasnt been done yet.

  • Rumor has it that new games based on BBC shows are coming. Maybe a GOOD Doctor Who game is in the works.

  • Yeah I saw, hopefully it'll be a point and click or something, and not a bonehead shooter.

Anything is better than "Top Trumps"

  • Yes, there is, based on Matt Smith, coming for the Wii and DS, which will probably mean that there won't be much TARDIS in...

  • well it is to be released on DS and Wii

  • very well made.I always loved that old control room.Peter Cushing would have looked right at home in it.

  • i hope you can make a new one for 11th doctor ...

  • Brilliant and as I said I have a very basic console and a number of stories to help someone talented (not me) make the Farsh-nuke's Dime-lord console

  • I always liked this control room....it's not sterile like the white one, and not garrish as the current.

  • Beautiful, just beautiful! I have always felt more at home in this room as apposed to the white. My console when finished will be a fusion of this version and a half scale version of the pertwee era with a splash of the current model. Nice work!

  • DAMMMM UUUUU

i am making this same thing at the moment and was doing a corridor sweep into the console room

    u beat me to it....lol

VERY nice for blender work my friend

  • this would make a sweet DVD menu

  • Brilliant work, .please do a dvd titled tardis tours!

  • Lovely work.

  • brilliant. i would like to seem them use this in the new series. secondary console room was always very simply but possibly one of the best sets they used in the classic era

  • amazing once again - well done 5 stars! :)

  • Brilliant! More, do more!!!

  • I love all your work. This is magic.

  • That is so good !!!!!!!!!!

is it (the meshes) for sale? PLEASE ,PLEASE.PLEASE

  • right down to the inverted reflection in the shaving mirror. Bravo, sir!

    xx

  • That's absolutely beautiful. I envy people like you that have.. .talent and stuff.

  • Ahhhh, the old weird drwho.

  • You are a GOD. I love these videos more than life itself.

  • BRAVO MY BOY!

  • fab !

  • That blew me away. Astonishing attention to detail and utterly convincing in its authenticity! Such a beautiful control room - what a shame it didn't stay longer -but your creativity has done it justice :)

  • Awesome. Awesome. And the mahogany and stained glass is so perfect for something that travels in another dimension. It's funny how the best ideas slip through people's fingers. Ah well, that's lack of creative control for you and the vagaries of television.

  • Jesus christ , That was fantastic , It looked brilliant and lifelike 10 / 5
