Tim and Sue, covered by the blood.

  • 1 Peter 4:10-11 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

    KJV

    Through His Blood,

    Jim

  • Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

I Tim....to be in fellowship both should be living by God's word ...now many people have small differences in how they read the Bible....faith in Jesus Christ... that He died for our sins, was buried, and resurrected...those are the base that all Christians should believe.

  • Amen bro, if they are not exercising faith in the death, burial, and resurrection, their faith, is vain.

  • I agree....but Tim I have to ask you....do you agree with sharing other aspects of the Bible with people??

like those tracts before....they didn't focus solely on the work of Christ on the cross....but I think that people reading those scriptures may be lead deeper into the word and into a deeper understanding....of God's word and aspects that the church's are not preaching or teaching....let me know...

  • Amen, yes I do.

At times, it may take a few objections answered by parties on other issues before a consideration is made to respond to the saving knowledge of Christ.

To the unsaved, the conversation should eventually be re-directed back to the salvation message.

For the saved party, growing in grace and in the knowledge of Christ takes in consideration, a far broader range of details concerning the person and work of Christ as a whole.

  • Amen, brother.

This information is very helpful and I could have used it a while ago, lol. I will use it from now on though. Thanks. :)

  • Dear sister Kloudes.

It is no pleasure to ever sever company from someone that we have endeared ourselves to. Paul taught this precept, to help guard, and protect the saints from bad doctrine, severed relations, and to prevent a party from being ensnared of the devil, due to being a novice in the scriptures.

I've been saved for 25 years, and still struggle in these areas.

  • Are you calling me a novice? :)

    Lol, I am...

Of course, if a 25 year old Christian is having these problems, than I don't feel so bad about having trouble in this area. I don't mean to have these problems but if I do, well, that is okay, because I saved forever no matter what. :)

  • Kloudes:

I am quite proud of the level of maturity that you have exhibited to date, amidst some controversy, where individuals, who are much older, and elder in the faith made railing accusations against the Church body, (implicating you), among all in the body of Christ, by subjecting the saints unto the Galatians 1:7-9 curse.

That, was an exercise in carnality, and an attempt to cause divisions among the Church body, who are sound in their doctrine, and secure in their salvation.

  • I would never want to make people think you have to do certain things to be saved. Salvation is by grace, and I never meant to imply anything more or anything less. I was at first a little confused and perhaps even a little sorry for doing what I did. However, I know now that what I did was not wrong, and therefore I should not be sorry for it. I did what I was supposed to do, and never claimed such acts to add to salvation whatsoever. Thanks for all your support, brother. :)

  • Sister Kloudes:

We understood that fully, and never once questioned your salvation, nor your desire to genuinely do Gods will.

Your obedience had to be defended, for it was not only an attack on you, but implied in that charge, was the condemnation for any others who dare submit themselves to that ordinance given by Christ, and adhered to by all the Apostles and Prophets including Paul.

    1cor 1:14-18, Acts 16:5-17, Acts 10:28-33, Acts 19:1-7, Acts 22:6-16.

    May God Almighty bless thee.

  • yes, brother. You were defending the faith of all believers who choose to obey God by doing what I did. :)

    God bless you, brother

  • Good advice Brother. I need to learn to be more disciplined in this way.

  • We all do brother Luke, this was more of a reminder for myself, but I thought that I would share my feelings on the conclusions which I drew due to some unwanted experiences I've had not heeding Paul's council.

  • Good message! Nice jacket. :)

  • Yeah, it's my fave bro, lol...

  • Do you think we will wear clothes in heaven? I mean, I don't think anything shameful will be allowed, but I don't really want to look at anyone and see them naked either...Lol. Biblical perspective please.

  • It is so and Amen!!!

  • Blessings from Tim and Sue to you and yours Jimmy.

    Covered by the blood.

  • another very useful video ! I tend to agree that we should be careful to befriend people before we know where they stand on doctrines.

  • Thanks for the visit and fellowship bro.
