  • 1st guy Admiral Adama?

  • @chocolatedonut31

Or you can listen to both, actually. I'm rather fond of the whole thing together, despite being American. Some of us depend on the internet as a lifeboat to not sink into the sea of idiocy and xenophobia that seems to overwhelm my nation.

  • I believe I've made a comment like this, and I suppose while I concede that we in America technically DO have a culture, it still seems to me that we don't like anyone elses and that ours is probably one of the most incredibly boring out of all of them.

At least Britain had Kings and Queens, which is kinda cool when you think about fantasy and medieval knights and whatnot. I can't recall one good thing we kept, and if we did somehow make it, everyone else did it way better.

    Rather frustrating.

  • Throat singing is the most interesting thing I've ever heard actually. Why do some Americans want to "normalize" everything? Our country so integrated and diverse, but somehow we're very close-minded, you know what I mean? My school is a lot like that too; everybody has to act ,look, and think the same to fit in u_u

  • i'll give you that it is different.

but just because something is different, unusual, rare, and/or difficult does not mean it is particularly ejoyable.

  • @sothathappened I'm sure they would say the same about the singing in your local church

  • Amazing culture. Respect from Serbia.

  • reported for copyright infringement of my new trance song

  • This is kind of eerily chilling to hear. It's awesome!

  • was the cough at the end part of the performance

  • @WeedyBeaner Ignorance like that is why America is dying. Don't listen to the low-range vocal drone, listen for the high-range *whistley* overtones being produced.

  • @chocolatedonut31 umm ignorance isn't why america is dying

    it's lack of manufacturing

    and catering to israel

and you have this disgusting facade that every race can live in perfect harmony in a utopia where everyone loves each other

the people that you call "ignorant" are actually enlightened maybe your the one who is ignorant of the simple fact that not all cultures can live together and that all races should live separate to survive

asians live amongst their own buddy

  • @chocolatedonut31 I wonder if the high range tones are meant to represent the wind blowing over the landscape?

  • @WeedyBeaner Do you know how hard it is to make these noises. Farts come naturally this music they make does not

  • @WeedyBeaner Why are you even watching a video on culture if you have none? if you think listening to Rammstein makes you in tune with another culture, think again. No one asked you to like it or even watch it. Keep your negative comments, We don't want them.

  • @MrDerby2u oh look a pompous ass who thinks he has "culture"

he preaches that he is above someone else yet damning them for the things that person likes

what a hypocritic piece of shit

if your going to argue and attack someone learn the rules first

you don't argue against someone interest

first thing is to refute their point of view not attack their character

i think you have been sucking too much democratic dick because that is the only strategy they have

  • @walmartian555 I'm sorry, Mr. Bigot, can you repeat that? I couldn't hear you over all the ignorance in your comment

  • @walmartian555 If I would have wanted to hear an asshole, I woulda just farted. I don't recall asking for your opinion, so just keep it to yourself. If the only thing you have to do today is being an 'internet gangster', then you need a job. Go get one, because I'm sick of paying for you to sit on your lazy ass and play on the computer al day. Stop sucking up my tax dollars and get a job, troll

  • en de boer ploegt voort

  • They sound like the monolith in 2001: A Space Odyssey.

  • chinas very own maroon 5 :)

  • @supergoochie1 Mongolia's!

  • @mariaumnik eh somewhere in asia

  • Dude, not chinese. that is very insulting

  • Cool boys

  • Pavarotti and friends :D

  • Obertongesang ist echt eine faszinierende Sache, seit ich einen Bericht über eine mongolische Obertonsängerin im TV gesehen hab, bin ich voll drauf hängen geblieben und habe begonnen es zu üben, bzw zu lernen....

  • honestly its amazing how people can be so misunderstanding of others beliefs and cultures its no use arguing with ignorance. just shut up and enjoy the traditional music

  • @91aztecking i am asian but ignorance is not the problem

us asians prefer to live amongst our own kind!

maybe you should learn from them and stop the multicultural hellhole that is america

  • @walmartian555 wow you completely missed the whole point of my comment.

  • I find my TV remote helps me to channel.

  • how do they do this?

  • @Shadowbunnyjedi by channeling the earths energy

  • @terra382 or maybe or practicing and training all the muscles in their mouth tung and throat. more likely

  • @whisperingmusic BY channeling the earths energy

  • @terra382 Incorrect anyone can learn this without channeling anything...

  • @Tundravalcoz channeling the earths energy helps

  • @w0bbl3r rrright u cant sense sarcasm on the net.e do research anyway cause face it you know nothing about REALity ahaa

  • @terra382 you are an idiot

  • @TMBATMANSOrgamecha right back at ya baby

  • @w0bbl3r you know, thats why mongols master throat singing and western people can only get to a average beginner level

  • @w0bbl3r very funny how the only way you could answer was on an agressive way

did i mention energies or chi?

no i never said a thing about it

you do not take yourself time to understand what i am saying, and you do not take yourself time to understand the mongolian culture, and many are like you

that is the reason why western people won't master throat singing

  • @wolffe93 I said that energies and chi were bullshit, and you said, and I QUOTE: "thats why mongols master throat singing and western people can only get to a average beginner level". I obviously took this to mean that, since you were disagreeing with me, that you implied that chi and all that bullshit is HOW they master throat singing. Do you understand? Just because you didnt type the words doesnt mean you dont believe them, or at least were IMPLYING you believe them.

  • @w0bbl3r "just sit and make funny noises all day every day to entertain themselves." ??! WTF you're offending us. it is not taught to any random child. it is with high importance and we respect the singers. u try to tell your child to "make funny noises" all day in his childhood and let's see the result?! expecting something like this? that kind of s**t NEVER HAPPENS!

  • @w0bbl3r lets see you do it

  • @w0bbl3r lol you can't hear the overtones^^

  • @w0bbl3r hmmm.... you need to hear it up close to hear the complexity of these sounds. Some throat singers can make sounds that sound like they are compounded of 3-4 tunes going on at the same time. It's way too complex and sophisticated than a baby's babble for sure. Especially when it takes decades to hone this skill. Surely the mongolians can tell a baby gurgle from such sophistication.

  • @TetraLonelySouls Maybe it is something that only sounds right in live environment, but honestly, this is just noise.

Being able to make noise, while making another noise at the same time from the same throat is irrelevant though if it is just noise.

  • @w0bbl3r Opinion disguised as fact?

  • @w0bbl3r What do you think your language sounds like to other cultures? Noise. Trust me, there is more to said "noise."

  • @w0bbl3r of course it is noise. i think you're missing the point of throat singing

  • This is one of the most sophisticated styles of singing on the planet. Only a handful of people in world can sing like this - they all live in Tuva and Mongolia.

  • @dfperrault but anyone can learn! I am learning how---it's really quite simple--it just takes a lot of practise to make the harmonic overtones stand out, and to be able to manipulate them :)

I just started learning today and I can produce the sound of the overtones--now I'm working on making them lounder and manipulating them to the notes I want :)

  • @dfperrault see Nathan Rogers

  • @wolffe93

I totally agree.. Just look at Paul Pena, he never made it anywhere with his abilities.

  • i've been trying throat singing and so far all i have been able to get are the "A" and "E" sounds
