@badaboomrock What gays don't respect is cultural norms. Like I said I'm not religious but the cultural i grew up in gay is not normal. To me what your saying is almost like saying legalize canbalism(they had a guy in Germany consent to being killed and eaten by a another guy) to me gay is that weird. @CardinalRaker following that logic, you're implying (and/or assuming) that gays "consent" to be gay. i'd be straight in a second given the choice. but that's the problem isn't it? i wasn't. i just am, and i don't enjoy being told that my genetic make up is immoral or wrong or abnormal. i am gay. that's just the way it is.
think about this: a little person doesn't choose to be little. and i highly doubt you're going to tell them to grow taller because they're abnormal. it's not a choice.

I am a minority in that realm and i get attacked for my views by them. Whats funny is i am a registered democrat and agnostic, but i don't support gay rights or atheist(i find atheist insufferable and worse than even in the face gays like Perez Hilton)

I see no reason to like gay people. A) They are people, which mean I probably won't like them anyway. B) They are gay which means I don't like their behavior and I can't relate to them. and to be honest I wouldn't trust them

The word "GAY" was once used in a different context. When speaking about gay, back then, it only meant that the person was "HAPPY". Homosexuals were referred to as being "QUEER" if men or as "LESBIANS" if women. It is not wise to legislate what people can or cannot talk about. There is a little thing called freedom of speech and it is unwise to attempt to muzzle teachers or anyone else. Procreation is necessary for human life to survive. This means ADAM and EVE, not ROBERT and STEVE.

I don't have a problem with gays who act like normal people, if I don't know someone is a gay I don't care it's the ones in the face i can not stand.
