This was my favorite comic when I was a teen. Too bad now all anyone remembers is that rictor and shatterstar are homos. I thought it was getting gay and stopped reading it. It was just a shot at Liefeld. Too bad cuz this comic could have been the best shit ever. I always thought shatterstar woulda nailed boomboom or siren. who new he'd be gettin nailed by his latin lover. Lol thanks marvel for gaying up a confusing time in my life. I just wanted to read cool comics and you gave us gay romance.

i love fabien nicieza for making rictor and shatterstar gay. storm, mystique, gambit, and the shadow king are all gay (or bi) according the writers, they have said so in interviews or made it obvious in storylines.

SHATTERSTAR storyline is in the pages of #59, #69, #61 and in those, Rictor returned to the team to be there for Star as Cable probes him. so much for the great friendship i looked up to.

No. X-Factor worked under SHIELD and X-Force worked for Cable. X-Force did do *some* missions with and for the X-Men, but they didn't work for Xavier.

He ran the New Mutants for a little while, and many different incarnations of X-Men teams. Most of the student teams though were led by others (ie Gen X, New X-Men, later New Mutants, and X-Force) but Xavier had an indirect effect over them. I just wouldn't say that they were *his* teams, is all. The X-Men were his priority.
