2. The correct term would of course have been primate, but since those are also monkeys in layman's terms, so are we / is our ancestor.

@goreth01 Humans did not evolve from monkeys. Humans are more closely related to modern apes than monkeys, but we didn't evolve from apes, either. Humans share a common ancestor with modern African apes, like gorillas and chimpanzees. This common ancestor existed 5 to 8 million years ago and shortly after, the species diverged into two separate lineages. One of these lineages ultimately evolved into gorillas and chimps, and the other evolved into early human ancestors called hominids.

A group of Anaconda snakes would be able to survive in an environment with rats because they would be able to just eat them so the snakes would be the Favored Races. I see nothing racist about it.

This was a funny little episode, and I'm Mormon. I did the same thing for 2 years. Only thing is, Charles Darwin didn't command his students to go door to door teaching atheism and evolution.
