Sport Stacking improves hand-eye coordination, ambidexterity, and using both sides of your brain. It helps with other sports such as basketball, baseball, tennis, ect. As well as playing musical instruments. Plus your room temperature IQ fails to comprehend simple topics. Maybe the most important one. It's fun. You make new friends, develop confidence, get an adrenaline rush, and you have fun.

@ddr122 Look, I don't even particularly like sports. I never did anything athletic until I joined the army. Having said that, even I know that we're cheating these kids with this cup stacking business, in a school gym no less. Who will be around to explain to these future "leaders" why they don't have the heart to push themselves through life? A sport is based on physical athleticism. If you get an "adrenaline rush" from stacking cups you should be in a hospital.

While I think Glenn Beck's a Libertarian nutjob that incites violence, I'm with him here. Cup stacking most certainly has no place in a school gym class meant to burn calories and keep kids in shape.

Yes, some kids may not be as physically able as others; gym class sucks for them. But you know what? Some kids don't do as well academically as others; math class sucks for them. It's life.

Also, I'm sure Glenn Beck, with his multi-million $ salary, is jealous of how quickly you can stack cups.
