Is there a name for the meter of this suprabhatam? is meter the correct term? for ex., Sri Venk. Suprabhatam is also a suprabhatam but done to a completely diff. meter and timing. Thanks.

Hi! Im not an expert, but I think you are talking about 'raagam' (tune) or thaalam (pace to a song). Yes the Venkateswara suprabatham is sung to a totally different raagam and thaalam.

Thanks, yes I know there are different metres for Sanskrit recitation. for instance, the Gayatri is in fact not just a slok but a type of metre. Just wondering if this one had a name.
