u dnt need apartment life 2 c the ceiling u jus clik 45 degree view then press tab on ur keyboard and go inside and u see the ceiling ^_^ hope it helped

@MsLeprechaunhunter You are wrong if you dont have appartment life you cant put tiles in the ceiling so the the ceiling doesn t show up when you are inside not even if you press the tab and look up .You have to download double sided tiles from mod the sims to show the ceiling without getting appartment life expansion pack

@rocketdmg11 Hey I love your videos man but understand that I don't have apartment life and I can see my ceilings with ease. Now this might be because I am just an expert when it comes to architecture on the Sims 3 but you don't have to have apartment life in order to see those kinds of features.
