I don't remember, but I'm sure I saw this "back in the day". Seeing Gene Kelly hoof-it makes me smile. Seeing Karen is bitter-sweet. Richard is absolutely awesome.
the Best Christmas Song of All Time. the most Beautiful. Merry Christmas Darling. to Everyone Merry Christmas. be Blessed and find all that you need and desire is here now and coming to you.
Great Christmas Show. Richard and Karen made one of the Greatest Musical Groups ever to record Music, and nobody, and I mean NOBODY, could touch Karen Carpenters Voice. Karen's Voice was a rare gift. When she sang, her haunting angelic golden voice, just pierces straight through you. Karen sang with absolute innocence, from her heart, from such depth.!!
I will be forever grateful to have grown up listening to the Carpenters.!
Karen Carpenter will forever be a part of my life.!!!
They didnt know she had anorexia back then. Anorexia was a bizarre disease back then and Hollywood and the general public did not know about it back then. Plus stars were encouraged to be thin.
I love this song.. Makes me cry so much.. I miss my grandparents, some friends that arn't alive, Dan Fogelberg, Peter Tomarken and most of all Karen Carpenter.. RIP all of you... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all those near and far...
it is a little eerie, and thats not mean. she had anorexia and she had to talk about food the whole time. they were torrmenting her the whole time, thats whats mean. how dare they.
she has such angelic voice, too bad she had such a short life to share her talents with the world

I love the Carpenters, but this was some head-smacking writing...
GENE: "People give to others what they would most like to receive themselves . . ."
KAREN: "Wait a second... I'm giving everybody food."
*sigh*
