i mean. lots of things that are harmful have lids. if 'put a lid on it' was the message, then.. i would've picked anything else.

draino maybe? milk sours if you don't put a lid on it, so maybe that would've been a better visual metaphor to describe what happens when the lid isn't kept on..

toothpaste is good for you.. it's used to prevent dental problems, and the point of them is that it polishes teeth and it comes in lots of really pleasant flavors.

Well, First, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to comment and second, The whole point of the toothpaste was once it's out there, you can't put it back in the tube. You can't just simply take back whats already been said. I appreciate you're question and you weren't mean...you were just plain rude.

i was just pointing out that it wasn't great conceptually and i even suggested other possible mediums for you to explore as a means of being constructively critical.

you don't have to p*ss acid about it because your visual metaphors don't get the point across the way they should. working with symbolism is difficult and if you attempt it, my reaction is just something that you have to consider as a possible result

It's not the toothepaste itself that is bad.....it's the concept that once you've squeezed the toothpaste out you can't put it back in. Once you've said something, you can't just simply take it back.
