He is probably hearing, but he could be deaf, If I had to bet MONEY, I would say that a DEAF person would NOT CHOOSE to interpret a SONG, that whole idea is totally HEARING.
Thanks pognyc for the compliments. Boy Dylan wrote that song with drugs in mind. It was the sixties after all.
Think it's time to answer that question. Yes, I'm deaf but have been listening to and playing music most of my life. I used to play this song on a 12 string electric guitar. Our band - Beethoven's Nightmare has been around for over 30 years now.
deaf people would love to enjoy music like the hearig people but knowing they cant so to enjoy music is by the sign interpreter who can help pople enjoy music aswell im deaf and sign and i love music becaue the people sign the songs for us to know the words and enjoy like others
As much as I HATE VISUAL LANGUAGE related to sound/MUSIC , GREAT job INTERPRETING this rather than only TRANSLATING it into ENGLISH as expected.
Including the of SE gloss for "high" and the ASL relating to it was enough to convey the subtle meaning behind the ENGLISH WORDS of the song. The song, written in a SPECIFIC TIME/CONTEXT does CE imply that TAMBOURINE MAN is DRUG DEALER, in early days, 60's w youth is HOPEFUL, NAIVE, drugs were innocent THANK YOU FOR USING ASL!! PEACE.
Great job, i love signed music
