I personally think it's gorgeous that you can chill it out and get back to the basics, making a beautiful flow that is peaceful to watch. You capture the essence of hooping in a tranquil paradise... no need for crazy tricks. No doubt you can bust some wicked moves but that isn't always necessary or appropriate. Kudos for following your heart and doing what feels right in your soul! Again, always a pleasure to see a video from you!

@HoopCharmer Thanks for the info! I just have one more question: it looks like the hoop is covered with just shiny tape. Is it really slippery? I'm new to hooping and I've heard that you need some kind of tape like gaffer or hockey to make sure the hoop is grippy enough.  Or does it just take practice to get comfortable with a slippery hoop? I really like the all-metallic look, so if I can get by without any additional tape then I'm going to try. Again, thanks for any advice! :-)

@jenthang It is rather slippery, yes, especially once I get really sweaty. You can also just line the inside with gaffer, and have the shiny on the outside. I think you'll get maximum grippyness if you tape it gaffer/shiny/gaffer/shiny. The breaks in the tapes tend to add more friction.

Try experimenting and see what you like! Hooping is all about the process! ;-)

@Sweetie31907 Oh, I definitely get sweaty when I hoop, but I love it! Its feels great to get my heart rate up and get moving with the hoop! Advice.... have fun with it! Practice, and remember that there are no wrong answers. Play with your hoop and see what happens! :-)
