im not having ago or anything but can these animals leave indapendantly with out there parents? i mean its great to have a pet croc, as long as its happy
Well, I can't pretend I am an expert because I am not but the people here are experts and I'm just following the rules they tell me to follow. Eventhough they tell me a UV lamp is not necessary I've tried for 10 months to find one in Cairo and I never could and it also goes for the filter. This Croc has monthly visit to a Vet near my house and he is in perfect shape. Finaly, why don't you come visit me in Cairo and try to be this arrogant !
I didn't see a Powersun or any other heating&UVB source in any of these videos... what a dumbass idea using that small filter designed for guppies... Even a dumbass knows that small crocs SHOULD have UVB/heat/GOOD filtration aka cannister filters.
I must admit, you'd get the shit slapped out of you by REAL owners of crocodilians in the USA, don't ever tell anyone you kept one... I'd go as far as pulling these videos off youtube as they let the civilized world know just how stupid you are.

My friends that live outside the city limits keep niles both the big ones and the madagascar varieties, caimens (spectacleds, yacare's, etc), salties, etc. They keep them OUTSIDE and bring them inside ONLY when it gets too cool to keep them outdoors. It can take awhile for reptiles to die since their metabolism is alot different than that of mammals. Speaking of keeping "something different," I breathe reptiles and amphibians man, I'm not some youtube casual idiot poster.
