Tutorial: MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 15 - How to use the scene overview and editing

I need help!!!! In my video there is around 200 pictures. I want a certain effects on all of them. I would prefer not to do them all individualy. Is there a way of applying these affects to all of the pictures at the same time??

@FajitaFive Hello, you can add effects to one and then duplicate them to all of the other pictures. Just right-click on video file / picture that contains the effect(s) and choose "Video effects" -> "Apply video effects to all" / "Apply video effects to all of the following".

I am fed up with mines,I had it for a while and when I make videos, on the edit page the whole thing keeps sticking, I am pretty disappointed in this program, I have had it for ages, and every time It tried to use it, it starts off fine then the further I prgress in my project, it starts sticking (Stopping and going) I have uninstantiated it from my pc a couple of times as it seems no good to me, it seems good what it is supposed to do, if it would just let me do it, yes i am angry with this.

this program is useless unless you buy all the codecs they dontt tell you you need until after purchase and then i bought the mp4 codec and never got it huh

it says on the box that you need to purchase the codecs. Anyways this is only the case in the version 15. In the new version17 you do not need to purchase codecs. If you are having trouble receiving the codec you can contact our customer service (not support) and will get help immediately.

I think to make a time lapse you film a scene for about one day without moving the camcorder and then you play the video in fast motion.

Depends on what kind of camera you're using. Otherwise, you could always just adjust the speed of a video clip.

A better program for beginners with very little learning curve is something like Muvee, or Corel Video Studio. This program appeals to semi-pro level editors, and contains advanced video editing tools. You can get very professional results with Magix. This program competes with packages costing hundreds more. If you're already familiar with editors like Premiere, Vegas Studio, or Avid, you'll find it easy to pick up quickly on how to use this app. The tutorials are great! Thanks Magix!

That software is garbage!  It's very confusing, not much elaboration, took 45 mins to install, 10-15 min to open the link...took five hours trying to figure out how to manipulate the shit. All I got out of it was font and intro editing. I gave up and uninstall.

Why give up? If it is difficult that is a great thing! Windows movie maker is easy to figure out within a minute. But with this software, you have to really study it to be a pro at using it. Oh well your choose.

i have a couple questions, can you delete parts of the video, like take out seconds 4 to 8 then the video after it goes to 3 it starts at what 8 would be? and can you add another video that will play as soon as the first one is over? and add audio tracks and the volume and what not? im planing on making a movie for my colledge project? thank you

Go to the EDIT screen and on your right uper corner you can find effects.And if you want to upload an video go to the EDIT screen and thre you can found the IMPORT screen and thre will be MY MEDIA and COMPUTER and if you have a folder where your videos are just click it.I will make a tutorial of Magix movie edit pro when i get the full version.Just subscribe me and you will see when it's done.(=

Magix Movie Edit Pro 15 does not seem to be a good choice for vid-editing noobs (like me). The "Help" system doesn't, you have to come here and look for tutorials for your particular version of the software.
