Recorders, whistles and pan pipes are all flutes.

Keep practicing. FAST, FAST, FAST WARM AIR is the best advise I can give you. Keep it focused into the flute so that you don't get any of the airiness and try to drill a hole through your far wall with your air.

I pretty much agree with the rest of YouTube. It sounded pretty awesome, but when playing in the lower register, try and use warm air, it will make the tone quality of the notes much fuller. And I def want the music!!!!!!!!!!!

It's pretty good, the airiness comes from a poor embouchure which will improve with time and practice :d

I play flute and have just nailed this song, and yes it took me forever to find the sheet music, and it was annoying cos it is such a good chart to play, i have a yamaha offset c flute that is blue, dont ask me where i got it.

ive been playing for 3 years now and just got a scholarship (im terrible at spelling) with new town high, and i think it sounds brilliant, all you need to do is turn your flute down a little more so that it is just below youre shoulder and that will get the note sharper.
