I was making a toasted sandwich while this was playing on the background. After the halfway, when the solo went in, I totally froze, ran back to pc, listening to the song hypnotised. The sandwich got burnt, now I'm eating it half crying. Got to replay.
@grga888 whether or not its the best is totaly someones opinion. i think it is IMPOSSIBLE to say which is 'best' because stevie played this song thousands of times throughout his life, it is silly to say which is the best. THEY WERE ALL SO AWESOME!

When it comes to Stevie, whatever he did is magnificent and pure gold, to me this is the rawest version of them all, slow and hard killing blues, but if I had to say which is my personally best than that is definetely either ACL 1983 or El Mocambo 1983. Texas Flood on those nights was simply out of this world guitar playing, but than again Stevie was always like that, but those versions simply blow my mind!
I seen Stevie when I was 16 . I've been to alot of concerts since NO ONE compares.
