Tony Pabon and Manny Rodriguez originally wrote "I Like It Like That (A Mi Me Gusta Asi)" in 1967. Boogalo musician Pete Rodriguez later covered "I Like It Like That (A Mi Me Gusta Asi)" that year, from his album of the same name.
