Actually it does. They've both done lower things. I have a bigger theorey though, he was pushing away to see who would push back. Like a child hiding to see who would care to come find them. That was what the roof thing was, I don't actually think he wanted to kill himself, he justed wanted to seee who cared. Blair did, she went to the edge and dragged him back which is reason #1 why I think Chuck will say I love you to Blair next episode.
