@onahpets100 several is a two-syllable word in US accents with the stress on the first syllable. it's an /e/ sound |(nothing to do with /i/ or /I/), and the second syllable is reduced into a schewa (a neutral sound) . hope you find this helpful. I'm a british actor btw, currently working on mastering the Californian
@TomWilliams921 thanks =) but "severe" is also a two-syllable word like "several" and I know how to say "several" I'm just asking because some words has 2 ways to pronounce them like "schedule" "neither" and some other words
i agree but most call center agents in asia wants to learn the neutral american language for you guys to understand us more clearly and that we do not have to repeat ourselves and also for your issue to be addressed properly and get resolved in a timely manner. We have observed that the very reason why customers say "customer service sucks" is because of the language barrier. That's why it is important to asians to speak neutral american english language to avoid the language barrier. :)
it's really helpful. Thanks so much for uploading videos. ^_^

I dont think you need to make these. This is the U.S. so we can understand most people unless they have a really bad accent
