These guys remind me of Queensryche with their constant change in sound, I love how in 8 years they release 4 albums that are completely different in sound....also Khan's voice always reminded me of Don Dokken

great vid! Im a huge Khan fan myself. His style is like geoff tate of queensryche, which is why Im such a big fan of Khan/Kamelot. Geoff Tate in his early years is my favorite male vocalist, Khan... well he might be my favorite vocalist now!

Actually I think I saw somewhere that Khan listed Tate as an influence on his own singing.

Tate is insane. 4 octave range and an iron-strong vibrato.

You'll HAVE to play the 3:34 part of "lunar sanctum" in the "kamelot part". That E5 is probably the most amazing thing ever happened in his carrier. All in all, it's his best vocal performance IMO.

I am thinking of using Lunar Sanctum, yes. The problem is that it isn't really representative of Kamelot's sound or Khan's singing at the time, even though it's an awesome song.

Well, if it's not going to be sanctum, i owuld surgest nights of arabia or until kingdom come. Nights of arabia mostly to show his vocal abilities.

Well, silint crying owuld be more impressive if it hadn't bin falseto.. Still very good. He still rocks more in kamelot. The "fourth legacy" album is probably his best album vocal based. His voice is very comfortable on it, and he makes some pretty technical stuff on there.

Very cool! It's really unfortunate that Conception never got their due; they made some incredible music! Info. and anything on them is a little hard to find(although the cds can be found on ebay & amazon). Looking forward to part 2! :)
