@boygalak Um they went to the Finals 2 years in a row. They dominated the Lakers in 04 and took the Spurs to 7 games in 05. Thats not a team that sucks. They were arguably the best defensive team throughout the 2000's. This was the last year that they were great though. They've been mediocre since 08.

@boygalak Let me put it this way. The lineup that featured Ben Wallace was the best Eastern Conferance team for several years. And like I said, they were perhaps the best Defensive team of their era. They were phenomenal in the mid-2000's.

@williwo u pistons faN? yes they were good but east is not that powerful like today thats why they dominate in the east, they always choke in the eastern conference finals imagine how many championship apperance this team can have.......

@boygalak You're ignoring what I'm saying. They dont always choke. They won the ECF 2 years in a row.....and performed well in both Finals. Crushed and humiliated the Lakers while taking the Spurs to a memorable 7 game classic. What more do you want? They had an impressive run as a team.

@boygalak Look man, I agree they suck now. I was talking about 03-07. If they were as good as they were then they would still be very dominant. Them and the Celtics would be dueling for supremacy in the East.

@williwo joe dumars wanted to build around stuckey , its gonna take a lot of years or maybe this experiment will fail, but for me they me chauncey was the heart of that team bad move by detroit thats why they are rebuilding ryt now

@boygalak I agree Chauncey was the engine of that team.....but they all had a unique role. They were the best starting 5 in basketball during those years.
