The film got a lot of positive reviews, so I think it was a bit harsh of you to mention the one bad review to the director, you should have stated a positive review before it, just out of respect.

@spewker I'm not saying you didn't love it, and it wasn't a bad question, but you could have phased it a little differently at least... it just sounds more like an insult. I'm not trying to personality attack you. But you wrote to someone else it's good to know what people think of the video, so I thought I would share an honest opinion. If you interview other people in the future, I would assume feedback is useful.

I just thought for clarification I would mention that I did preface the question by saying that the film was generally positively received and had won awards at film festivals. My question concerned the crass review by one critic who went over-the-top negative on the film. I wanted to give the director a chance to respond, to lessen the severity of the negative critique. Also, my personal praise of the film was edited out of the tape. Just FYI.

@spewker Lol, cool ;) I just don't think negative responses like that should be dignified with a response at all. In any case the response tends to be the same argument; not every person in this world is going to love or like the same thing.

I adore this movie. I can't really contimplate anything bad about it. It's so honest and should be celebrated. If someone does feel negative about it, I think its due to its raw displays of realism.
