Sort of unsure about the switching of recordings. Beautiful concerto however, I will be performing in this soon as a double bass.

Perhaps the orchestral tuttis were switched to a modern recording because the original recording of the tuttis may not have been technically quite good enough for today's purposes? Just a guess.
