Love the sport it was my first true love and I would love to coach a gymnast to the Olympics and think that I can do it god willing I will one day be able to open my own Gymnastics school.. And yes she is incredible to be that age and tumble at the level if her dance was good no one would beat her on floor

as a 33 year old---- amazing, so, my question is, now that it's been so many years SINCE she has trained under the Soviet system, is that why she made errors on basically all her landings (and form issues on her double full)? She's such an inspiration. It seems that the older she gets, the more explosive her tumbling gets. She proves that a gymnastics career doesn't have to end at 18. So glad she medaled in Beijing. Well deserved.

She is amazing. Although the choreography wasn't that great she is a very good tumbler and has amazing physical skills. After all this is gymnastics not dancing so the technical difficulty is the most important.I think in female gymnastics they put too much emphasis on the artistic side rather than on the technical difficulty. She is an example to all those female gymnasts who give up gymnastics at 21 years old.

Her tumbling is still great after all these years, yet she has absolutely no control over her landings, and her face and expression in her dance is pretty much non-existent. Kudos to her for still getting out there, but it was such a flat routine.

I loved Izbasa's routine but i think Chusovitina should have won gold here.Could'nt believe my eyes, Oksana is over 30 years old and she still performs amazingly.If she gets to Beijing she'll be a penta-olympian.Maybe the only penta in any sport in Olympic history.

No one can deny Chusovitina's many, many accomplishments, and she deserves every gymnasts respect! However, her tumbling is a bit sloppy in the air and her landings are not very clean. Those are going to be deductions. Overall, she doesn't dance so much as pose. That will also affect her score. Finally, her leaps, while dynamic, don't showcase her flexibility.

Chusovitina is a world-class gymnast, and AWESOME, but she shouldn't have won this event.

Pauline Davis- Thompson competed in her 5th Olympics in Sydney 2000 and had a fairy tal ending winning the 4x100m Gold with her Bahamian team mates. She also won the silver medal in the 200m behind Marion Jones. The thing is, now she will be given the gold after Jones admitted to taking drugs.

Steve Redgrave is another Pent- Olympian. Also won gold on his 5th appearance. Maybe it's a good sign for Oksana??!
