Truly the US economy is heading for a major even greater recession if things are not done to fairly adjust the distributions of wealth and work. Many of jobs are outsourced to other countries that would do the work for considerably less than the American counterpart. While Big Companies accumulate ore wealth and don't give anything back to the society they sell to. Otherwise Americas future would be one where it's wholly dependent on the work and power of other countries.
The historic tendency of capitalism is concentration and accumulation of capital in the hands of fewer and fewer capitalists and increasing misery and suffering for immense humanity. Capitalism is a politically corrupt, manipulated MARKET SYSTEM OF ARTIFICIAL SCARCITY to perpetuate poverty and exploitation in the interest of the dominant capitalist.
EU and US needs to lever tarriffs on goods from China made below production costs. Tarriffs, and export taxes on steel scraps, coal going to China. Why should the west let western companies make us compete with slave labor.
comparative advantage means trading items that have natural advantage in terms of labor costs, productivty. Predatoral Advanage is selling goods below the cost of product and the only way a rational producer will sell good below cost if the goverment subidies it
I just wanted to make sure we were talking about the same thing. China does in fact have an advantage because costs such as taxes and licenses are to be considered. Observing laws and regulations in this country is extremely expensive as well. This all robs the U.S of it's productivity.
The "rule book slowdown", a tactic employed by the Unions, is direct evidence of this. This tactic wouldn't work if U.S regulations didn't in fact make a company uncompetitive.
China IS manipulating things such as it's currency (like every other country) but it's to our "advantage" (Pros and Cons to this). It's purposefully devaluing the Yuan, as are countries such as Japan, in order to keep our trade relationship alive.
I don't believe I need to tell you what would happen to the United States if the exchange rate of its biggest creditors suddenly skyrocketed.
No, more like the rich get richer and poorer get poorer, this shits pissing me off, I am 21 and my life is just getting started and i am finding out that there is no decent work anywhere to be found, WTF IS GOING ON!
good speech excepting the uninion issue. Here there are a lot of unions and strikes, but the same thing happened. Well paid manufacturing jobs disappeared all the same. If companies outsource production (as they do here in EU as in the US) trade unions can do nothing at all.

We can't win a trade war with China. China has the capability to nuke the entire U.S economy overnight.
See U.S playbook during the Suez Canal crisis. We ended that war with treasuries..

I'm sure HC is the one to fight for unions... she was on Walmart's Board of Directors for almost seven years!!!! The most anti-union company ever!!
