True the media didn't give him much attention, but it seemed like he had a good following. However, the Colbert Report and and the Daily show did put the spot light on him, but that is a small network. However, large networks such as NBC nearly completely ignored him.

With the internet though, I thought that Ron Paul would have had a better turn out than what he got. His percentages were too low even though his view was the most realistic and to the point.

And where should they get it? i took a class in college that took on this issue. If you only had small time things, you would see even more cover of the same stories. If you are the different companies, you will cover what you think people will want to see. So instead of 5 channels reporting similar / different information but ran by one company, you have 30 companies that run the same 2 stories.
