The cd I have of this song is called "Gimme Five".
Anyway, one of the best songs Ive ever heard to this day.Its gets me hyper every time I hear it. One of my favorite songs to listen to when i go jogging.
I love coming to old videos like these to see people reminiscing about when they were teens! it makes me feel special that I can sort of carry on the legacy (if you will)!
only 10000 views.....WTF....i probly listened to this `10000 times in high school... boooo to peolpe who dont know good music lol they dont know what there missing haha!
About 10 years ago the singer of the Killjoys was at a bar my band was playing at. He stayed for the whole show and called us over to his table after we were done. I thought "wow cool what is going to say to us"? He asked us if we thought being in a cover band was embarassing and we should not be doing it :(
Wow great upload! My girlfriend and I used to "make it" to this song all the time back in the day! Now I am just an overweight chronic masturbater. This tune sure brings back memories!
@EcksAddikMcAddik exactly. When indie and creativity was the mainstream. Then the music industry began their agenda (corporate, bland, trash) after the mid-90s. No more creativity and credibility. Don't forget that Canada actually had a scene and its own bands were played on tv and radio as a normal thing. We had the 50s-60s, the early 70s, 80s, early to mid-90s, and after that nothing!
@FahQposeurfag I as well! Still have like 4 boxes chock of me SOMEwhere in storage! Muchmusic, MTV2(when it was just M2), VH1, and HBO's Reverb! :D The highlight amongst all of it? Definitely the entirety of Glastonbury '98! And Snowjob as a close runner up, where Greig Nori challenged a fan(I forgot for how much dolla) to drink a whole forty before the end of "Brand New Low!" You don't see real shit like that on TV anymore :(
See? SEE what NOT putting out a video does to a great band and their best song?
Another is Lowest of the low's "Subversives".
No wonder so many hack Canadian bands got big.

The 90s was the time for Canadian music. I haven't seen a Canadian band in the last 10 years who comes close to the Killjoys.

Love this song. I had a friend who used to sing " You were Christine I was Phil" instead of " you were pristine I was filth"
I thouroughly enjoyed the CHRISTINE reference.
