this is a nice touch, loved it when i skated there for first time in like 15 years! back in 06, the skating teacher girl was real cute, and both supervisor people did great skating moves like those pros do. wonderful family experience wud love to go back sometime, do some serious serious shopping!
Bah, who cares. Soap, snow -- it's cool and creates a christmas-y feel -- that's what matters. The Christmas tree is huuuuuge. I would pay to see how they get it inside and put it up.
Sorry For replying late, but next time you show up at the rink, there are doors along the walls of the rink. They store the tree in pieces into those slots. It takes about a whole day to set it up. It is being set up this year November 9th. We are closed all day because of it. You should check it out. :))
