I don't know why they remade this movie, other than for financial gain. You only need to watch five minutes of the original to realise it isn't possible to capture it's brilliance again. It has something, a certain *something*, if you want your children to watch this tale, you simply get them this version, it's something rare in movie history, it's "timeless".

Lesson to be learnt. Don't try to fix what isn't broken.
