About three weeks ago I managed to get the ball in the hole with my second shot. I danced round the room for like 10 minutes! Wii called it a Double Eagle (though I heard somewhere it should be called an albatross?) Complete fluke of course. Have tried it several times since and usually bounce right off the green with shot two.

I've made an eagle on this hole, too. Yesterday I finally made my first hole in one - it wasn't hole 2 or hole 8, but the other par 3 hole. It seems like hole 2 and 8 would be harder hole in ones because of the bunker on 2 and getting the ball up the hill on 8.

you had it right the first time. Golf is measured by a "stroke." So, a Par 3 means the course designer thinks you should "Par" /play the hole with 3 strokes.
