Utterly fascinating! Please tell us more about the sculptures and those large stones (lava?) as well as the piled up stones into cones? Looks like Easter Island! Wonderful!

I think I spied your grandson among those British Tourists. I liked the quiet green areas with all the stone grandfathers. It looks like a very ancient place.

Jeju was pretty hot and humid, but not as humid as Shanghai, where it was almost unbearable walking about the city.
Jeju is sometimes called the "Korean Hawaii"; it is very popular with honeymoon couples. I should like to spend more time there.
