Why does one always speak of sensitivity when it is about a female pianist ? It seems me that Annie Fischer was more remarkable by her powerful sound than by sensitivity.
these videos with Annie Fischer playing pianoconcertos in Budapest are real treasures.
This woman was fantastic. I think her sensitivity for music and musicality were one of the best ever existing. She had to handle with this old Boesendorfer but it does not matter , she is so convincing like Cortot , Haskil, Rubinstein....
This is the Hungarian State Orchestra, led by Peter Mura, the flute player is Lorant Kovacs, correctly stated , in early '70s. Budapest , Academy of Music.
The venue is the large hall of the Liszt Academy in Budapest. The orchestra is probably the Hungarian State Orchestra -- the flute player seen in the video is Lorant Kovacs and he was the principal for the orchestra. I don't recognize the conductor. I would guess this performance is from the early 1970s.
There's a Seraphim recording in which she plays with the Philharmonia conducted by Sawallisch. That bald head and those glasses look quite like Sawallisch's. So I assume it's the Philharmonia...
Wonderful playing from a legendary pianist. But it would be nice to know the orchestra name, conductor, concert hall and possibly date of the performance.

@kraftpr As I stated in the other videos, I have absolutely no idea about the details for all the Annie videos, alas.
