Nearly 50 and i rarely start up the game because of the linearity.
Only thing it has going for it is the single player story line (and that will not hold subscriptions). EVERYTHING else has issues or is lacking something.
They misuse the word of planet. They are more like instanced questzones with barricades/invisible walls and with not much freedom of where to go. Its like they made a very small part of a planet and thats why it is not a miracle speeders are so slow. WoW sucks as well though.

I found it hard to communicate with players when I needed help in this game compared to many other MMO's. No chatbubbles, so it was abit hard to get other players attention when I needed help with a "elite" or whatever quest I was on.( also the general chat was total spam trash talk :) ) Not hard, just harder, and that is a bit fail for a MMO. But its a good game and all. But I find wow slightly more a game for me.

@GeoBlack4 This is a Star Wars Universe based game. The KotR series is one of the most exalted and classic in all of wrpgs. If you are trying to say that licensed games based of of pre-existing IP's are destined to be mediocre, then I would point out Arkham City as the most recent counter-example. This game doesn't look SO great,but it's not because it's set in the Star Wars universe. If anything being set in such a rich and vibrant universe is this games greatest asset.

This is REALLY old gameplay here. Go find beta gameplay, the graphics are great on this game. As for the balance of factions it is surprisingly even (based on actual experience) not only this but it has a high production value
Wow is now free to play till lvl 20 and you can purchase the game with all expansions plus the celestial steed and a companion for under $40. Blizz is getting desperate to keep their customers cause apparently a lot of them have cancelled their subscriptions for this game or others. I hope Blizz pulls its head out and start making some good content like they did before wrath. They're going to loose a shit ton of money come 2012.

I was so looking forward to this. Then I played beta... I mean, I don't know. I'd been expecting it to be more different than WoW. Only thing that makes it different is the cutscenes. The whole concept is the same. Also, I don't believe the cartoony style fits Star Wars world well. I will probably still buy the game, though I'm not sure how long it will last for me.
@kmoch333 the concept is no diff than any other mmorpg... and it would be nice if nubs stopped comparing everything to WoW as WoW is not original, and stole existing UI's from MMORPG's before it.

@Lortagreb yes they dumbed down the game so that it would run on consoles, but that only increased their revenue. It may not be ideal for PC gamers but bethesda made more money for it. You also have to remember that not everyone can afford a high quality PC. consoles are much cheaper. Personally I use both.
@dadikiuz Its a free to play game. Other than the initial $60 to buy it. There will be other expansion packs that will come out both in a free form and a paid version which has added content.

Yet another WoW copy .. for the Star Wars fans.. Great stuff. I'm all too bored of this style of gameplay, graphics are VERY mediocre .. Now one game I am looking forward to, is Guild Wars 2... its FRESH

So im level 1 i have a red lightsaber... i go full level and i still have a red lightsaber with just better stats... And the armor sets are almost the same... Thats just fail..

What i meant is that despite your level you will always have a same looking lightsaber with only colors to change and better stats... And the armor sets are all kinda lame + they look the same.... This is a movie based game my friend, and movie based games will always fail no mater how good they look...

@GeoBlack4 This is a Star Wars Universe based game. The KotR series is one of the most exalted and classic in all of wrpgs. If you are trying to say that licensed games based of of pre-existing IP's are destined to be mediocre, then I would point out Arkham City as the most recent counter-example. This game doesn't look SO great,but it's not because it's set in the Star Wars universe. If anything being set in such a rich and vibrant universe is this games greatest asset.

This is REALLY old gameplay here. Go find beta gameplay, the graphics are great on this game. As for the balance of factions it is surprisingly even (based on actual experience) not only this but it has a high production value

Wow is now free to play till lvl 20 and you can purchase the game with all expansions plus the celestial steed and a companion for under $40. Blizz is getting desperate to keep their customers cause apparently a lot of them have cancelled their subscriptions for this game or others. I hope Blizz pulls its head out and start making some good content like they did before wrath. They're going to loose a shit ton of money come 2012.

I was so looking forward to this. Then I played beta... I mean, I don't know. I'd been expecting it to be more different than WoW. Only thing that makes it different is the cutscenes. The whole concept is the same. Also, I don't believe the cartoony style fits Star Wars world well. I will probably still buy the game, though I'm not sure how long it will last for me.

@Lortagreb yes they dumbed down the game so that it would run on consoles, but that only increased their revenue. It may not be ideal for PC gamers but bethesda made more money for it. You also have to remember that not everyone can afford a high quality PC. consoles are much cheaper. Personally I use both.
