Please do not give stupid ataements/explanations about basant, because this is not hindu's festival. this is a celebration of punjab people when the the flowers of sunflowers glow and the same morning the basant is to be celebrated. the government is weak and had been weak to control the bastards to sell the materials which is not suppose to be used and sold. this is our festival since centuries and now these peaple who had come from villages have spoiled Lahore tradition.

Just in case people want to know, the kite ban was put in effect due to all downsides it had. Such as people getting seriously injured by hanging kite "thread" that is very sharp and could possible take off someone's head. Also people got electrocuted when flew and tangeled kites into electric wires.

What?! Musharaff was the only hope for Pakistan! Now we are screwed and pakistani's have made a huge mistake and making him step down. Sure I love kite flying, but Musharaff stepping down, is putting Pakistan in a very difficult position.

like I said, I like kite flying and hate that there was a ban on it, but musharraf was one of the very few GREAT presidents that pakistan has had and in his existence, Pakistan's economy has risen, and has done better than before. And Bhutto was bloody bitch that sucked Pakistan's treasury dry and deserves WORSE than what happened to her. She and her husband are criminals and had many cases filed on them internationally and Musharraf still let them get away with it.
