To be honest, this shit never works. In a real fight, your adreline is pumping and the best form of fighting is to knock him out before he takes a punch. In other words, charge him but don't over charge him. Just enough to keep balance and still be able to throw a shit load of swings. In the ring its different, on the streets their are no rules and it is much harder

@sootythunder krav maga a style of fighting created for use by Israeli commandos to completly decimate their opponents so you should never use it agains a civilian. A mugger doesn't mug you becaus he wants to. He wants food or drugs. You should not help him break the law, but help him so he doesn't have to break the law to satisfy his needs.Use some self defence techniques instead. Don't create enemies out of every opponent.

@sootythunder KravMaga is not for self defence. Its for expendable soldiers in war to defend the honor of the state of israel. It is not useful to prevent yourself from getting hurt. When you are in the frontlines of a war it is useful hurt the enemy at your own expence.

Ahh yes, MMA the lazy mans way to learn a few moves in a short amount of time. Equip an average person physical conditioning and a few take downs, sweeps, and boxing he is MMA'ist. To elevate the person's skill he separates each art and refines it and learns sensitivity, now you have a martial artists who understands why these things work and can feel em out and find em from a person who use to be like him - he is called an instructor.

@Byakuya79 We all have our habits and elements. We find we are limited to be proficient in multiple areas of arts so we hone one skill. Majority of westerners are grapplers because it is in our nature to grab things and use power. Kung Fu is a joke to us, boxing is a joke to us because we listen to Joe Rogan. Aikido is a joke to us because soldiers don't charge with their bayonetts to people anymore, and tae kwon do is a joke to us because Joe Rogan said so. MMA = I have big balls lets fight.

Krav Maga is not an info-mercial fad. It exists because a country relies on it as a staple of self defense for decades.
Most martial art vids are full of "standing-still" offenders to demonstrate the technique.
A "real" fight would include an ambulance and crying women.
