A real gut wrencher, brought a lump to my throat, tears to my eyes. We have rescued 6 cats. And love them all. My neighbor passed away and her son left their 14 year old cat to die. I found him staggering. We fed him. He is a beautiful soul. How can people discard such loving animals? Love your pets. Don't forget about them. They don't just take care of them selves. They depend on you.

all but 5 of these photos were from one afternoon at just 3 shelters!! imagine the countless others out there, all just as beautiful. this idea came from one of the proponents who spoke to the assembly appropriations committee mtg 2 wks ago. i couldn't see who was speaking. he said "these animals are being born to die." does anyone know who that was, so i can thank him for inspiring this song. sincerely, rene (renessance)
