i tried updating my iphone with version 4.0.1.2 the previous version was 3.0.1 it already downloaded the new version but then it kept on telling that the sim card inserted is not supported by the iphone and needs to insert a new sim supported by the carrier to unlock the iphone. i already tried a couple sim cards but still it won't unlock. pls help me. my iphone is 3g GB as u say i hop that now it is unlookable thanks im waiting for ur repley

@Farzadnaderi did you put an ATT sim card in the iphone after update then unplug then replug it? this will activate the iPhone
