  • I think he is saying it is illegal to hunt deer at night using lights. As pointed out before this is used for coyotes and fox at night.

  • @thefran911

    ILLEGAL!!!!!

  • @gunattic its not illegal if hes got a license

  • hey will deer see this light

  • set up next to a highway and look creepy

  • can the fox see the red light?

  • will an average flash light scare away a racoon?

  • @xXxLax4LifexXx yes

  • Thanks for gr8 info.

  • Just let most people know many states do allow the hunting of varmints and predatory animals threatening to your livestock or game species.Check Local laws in your area. Also this should only be used on pest and not game species. Spot lighting deer is illegal in all the continental 48 unless game offices have specified otherwise. So these techniques are for coyotes and foxes amongst other varmints.

  • Good video.

We use a 3.5mil Cyclops with red lens. I think it's like $25 at basspro connected to powercell. Probably wouldn't work so well if you're solo hunting but its good for the buddy system and videoing @ night.

Got a couple of fox hunting vids...check 'em out.

  • this was a fairly informative video. i was curious about how this worked and how well it worked since i've recently got into the idea of night hunting and have been contemplating buying the exact light you have on your gun in this video.

you seem confident with your setup, which is reassuring to me.. it may be time for me to finally invest in this adventure!

thanks for the upload and happy hunting!

  • cuz you have to swing the rifle all over the place to scan for targets!

  • very good video

  • Good video bigben, thanks!

  • the best way is to put a cop spotlight on your truck on spotlight em

  • @jakeditz50 illegal

  • @koolboarder14 how the hell is it illegal to hunt predators dipshit

  • i'm glad you posted this video. Do you simply brush the dye onto the lense. i had never heard of dykem before. Also, would a cheap dyed lens work well on coyotes? They get spooked easily. thanks for posting the vid.

  • dykem is a thin paint kinda like nail polish. I actully let it drip onto the lense and let it pool instead of painting it on. because when ya paint it on it has brush strokes instead of being even. if you can find lense material then that would work. I heard that suppliers for stage work somtimes has different colored plastic for lenses for the stage but I only heard about it.
