@lostfromanxiety From my Philosophy of Physics professor: "Biological aging is purely a function of the rate at which cells die and are regenerated, etc. So, humans, and all other biological organisms, have "internal" clocks, which determine the rate at which they age. In STR, if you are moving relative to me, then your clocks will be slow compared with mine, and my clocks will be slow compared with yours."
What I don't understand is given relativity, from the perspective of the travelling twin then the twin on the earth is moving away at near the speed of light. Given this logic both twins should expect to be younger.
The video is cute, but have you meant that time dilation only happens if you're moving at a constant speed and not accelerating?.. If so, then you're wrong. It happens with any speed - constant, or changing. During acceleration aswell.
though im not sure how many years pass exactly..you say 5..i know that if you 'observe' the planet Earth from the atmosphere one human life go within few minutes..which is WAY to FAST, then only 5 years :) You see people get born walk around and die..thats kinda scary.. i dont know if this is true either..who knows...
This is proved already, made with particles at CERN.
When i tried to explain this, people call me idiot and say I should be embarrassed for say that "time travel to future" is possible and has been done...

I still find it hard to wrap my head around..i understand the concept but i dont understand how the actual aging process changes

this is wrong. It's not 300,000,000 meters per second, it's 300,000 meters per second
