  • nice sg man :)

  • Great! I have two sg basses and they are great instruments.

  • how did you get that cool old school sound? is it the bass that does all the trick?

  • this sound is amazing, it made me come back and watch this video another 20 times dude

  • This proves that those who say "playing bass with pick is wrong" are in the wrong! great groove man!

  • Damn good for a white guy!!!!

  • Great playing.I see that the string windings are over your saddle.Has this been an issue.I had to put spacers on my Epi to intonate and not run the overwind on my saddles.

  • dang...and people ask me why I would ever want an old Gibson SG...how don't they see it?!

  • mud bass

  • I like the vid, cool idea (eb-3 in funk), but just a couple personal suggestions. A): try a 69 eb-3, B): string it with ghs short-scale boomers (45-105 or 50-107).

  • nice muted sound man! I am really digging that sound and I never go for SG's

I have a '76 Ripper, love the old school sound :)

  • You have to be one of the best bassists I've seen on youtube. great playing! How'd you learn funk?

  • I have a SB-350, a 1981 RD artist CMT, an SG-z, a 1971 EB3 (walnut finish) and a slotted headstock, and I still want a 73 Eb-3
