yes a gtx 295 will run it flawlessly. a dx9 card is required. basically once you can run vista you can run win 7

we will have to wait and see when dx11 truly starts to capture gaming but until and even after then the gtx 295 will still be able to more than handle those games albeit without the dx11 features.

To clear it up. The news around lately has been that DX10 cards will work on DX11 but not be completely optimized for it...so fewer fps but same graphics and a 295 would not have problems with fps anytime soon. Oh, and DX11 will work on Vista too.

dx11 capable card is not a requirement, but you can use it in windows 7.

If you have a dx11 card, and the game supports dx11, then yes, you will.

lol well ok, I mean, this will take a long ass time.. late releases still use dx 9 so I can't believe any game will come out soon, but from peoples comparisons it seems win7 have more fps.. you say It's cuz of the low ram usage?

Yeah, You wont be able to play almost any game at all on windows 7. That will happen in 2010 - 2011. You should just dual boot between XP and W7.

i use RC 7100 and i didn't see any "play to" in my media player. is it because my computer is on a network with an ubuntu pc? or this feature is new to the RTM build?

It's new to later RC builds, and isn't in the widely distributed one from Microsoft.
