Only thing I found wrong with SDK's ..is the left tap on some of them the tap is set just hair back and when u open the tap and pull it to stick it to the diaper .the tap comes loose from the plastic where it is attached to the diaper..and some cases other comes completely off..dat sucks.only way i see is to get the diapers snug is tape it up just before the tap rips off now.then get clear tape and wrap it around my waist . Some one said needs more SAP well thicker diaper means thicker price.
I've never worn them, but I did wear similar style diapers when I had to stay at Harborview Medical Center, here in Seattle. They were blue in colour. I asked what the diapers were for, and they told me that because I had a leg broken, I couldn't easily get up to go to the bathroom, so I had to wear diapers. I'd never seen adult diapers with only one set of tapes. They told me that it was easier to take on and off with just one set than having to deal with two or three sets of tapes.
Now don't get me wrong I think these diapers and fantastic, I just wish that ABU would make some improvements.
1st: Why can't they make the wings that the tapes are on larger? The tapes land on my hips and not on the front of the diaper (I'm not a large person either I'm 6"1' and I weigh about 200 lbs)
2nd: Why can't they make the plastic landing zone for the tapes stronger? If I have to re-adjust the tapes the plastic rips forcing me to get a new diaper.
3rd: Why can't they add more SAP (Super absorbent Polymer) around the tapes (like the old Pampers baby dry used to do) and throughout the whole diaper it's self
If the could make these improvements they would be the best AB diaper.
@greenbeana214: The first point I find kind of a flaw. The diaper itself can support someone that is both tall and heavy; however, if your waist is bigger than the suggested size, it could be a problem.
The second point I definitely agree with. I have not worn these diapers yet, but many diapers seem to have this problem excluding Tena Maxis.
@arviagent13 I have a 32 inch waist and use the large size, the tapes still land on my hips. That is the way the diaper is designed. If they made the wings larger this would not longer be an issue
@greenbeana214: Interesting. I am thinking about ordering some of these diapers as well and I am a size 32 as well. If the height really makes the difference, idk if I would feel anything being that I am 5' 11" when I buy the medium.
why cant these diapers be in a smaller size? I need a size of 24"-60.96 to 32"-81.28 waist size if they made them in that size that would be out of this world.
oh i know... i dont flood my diapers so this has never been a problem for me with the leaking like everyone else says.
i tryed the bambino diapers and i didnt like the fit for my needs.
im pretty sure i am going to be going to the ABU Super Dry Kids Diapers full time for my 24/7/365 needs though. they seem to be holding up a little better than the cushies and they are far less than the cushies....not saying the cushies are bad because they are good too.
@dewainejeske Thats one thing I never understood, how people PISS THE HELL out of a diaper really quick and leaks all over then they have the audacity to complain about it. I AM BRINGING BACK DEPENDS.
i don't understand how some people can cut down a fairly decent product like the ABU Super Dry Kids Diapers.
i have had sone faint pin holes with seepage through the plastic on a couple of these at the bottom of the crotch area but thats really nothing... i haven't had them flat out right leak like some of these people are saying. again, like i said in a previous post... i don't flood them and they last me 4 to 5 hours easy. :-)
@dewainejeske I have never ordered a product from ABU yet. I am thinking of getting some Cushies tho, But I think I will stick with Bambinos till I can get some serious cash to spend.
Also i wasn't tying to insult you. Some people really get mad at diapers you can't flood. But IMO if you ask me that pinhole leak sucks, I couldn't stand that D=
@JuggaloTheRolla: They either wet it with a bunch of water beforehand or they go after holding their urine in for a long period of time. Either way, it's easy to say that they are "haters" trying to put down everything.
I just ordered some Superdry kids diapers from AB Universe and it looks like the plastic has been improved and they are definitely more absorbent than they were before. They also have blue colored plastic added to the to the top and the inner leak barriers are now blue as well. With all the improvements and additions they truly do look like Ultra Pampers Plus from the 1980's
These really are great diapers. They remind me so much of Pampers Baby-Dry from the 1990's I do wish however, that the sides were a bit stronger and had absorbent material in them (just like Pampers had) In fact it would be great if the whole diaper could have more absorbent material as they do leak.
I solve this problem by using guards for men placed into the diaper. In the past I used diaper doublers or Depend Boost but can no longer find them
