I liked the jazzy version. You definitely have an ear and talent for this very complex composition and it all falls in place nicely. I felt like snapping my fingers Bravo.
this is incredible! but just some advice: this song is supposed to be a relaxing peaceful song and I think it would be better on a real piano than a keyboard.
@LaMusique565 I disagree. The original, back in the 60's, was a relaxing, peaceful arrangement by Roger Williams. However, songs are meant to be re-arranged. I've heard it many different ways. Check out the great pianist Bill Evans. I recorded it as a slow Bossa but at concerts I play it as an upbeat Samba. It's all good.
@SingerForLife3000 Thanks! - the sound actually has nothing to do with the keyboard - it's the hum from the amps. In fact, my Roland has its sound sampled from a Steinway.
@eaglespike4312 The piece is romantic enough in the beginning. To be honest, how many times can we musicians play the same thing as everyone else is playing? It gets very boring to be doing the same thing over and over again. That's why it's an interpretation, not Autumn Leaves all by itself. And interpretation is the meaning I'm conveying here. Thanks for watching!
@MatthewMatician I could not agree with you more. Why do the same song as everyone else. Listen to Ledisi's take on this song and then listen to Rachelle Ferrell's. they are both completely unafraid to do it in their own way. Kudos to you for being a real musician.
Fabulous technique. This is one of my favorite songs. I handwhistle this song accompanied by a jazz pianist up on my channel. It is audio only that we played together at his church and I recorded our "session" on a cassette tape. The pianist's name if Mark Sobol. My video is titled "HandwhistlerBen and Mark Sobol live-Audio Only. Besides that, Mark has several videos of his incredible playing up as well. His playing and yours are similar. He will enjoy yours and you will enjoy his.
Great! I have a Roland-300 SX pretty similar to yours. Your keyboard sounds great and your playing is amazing. Best Solo Autumn Leaves Interpretation i've heard and I like the Jazz in it.
Simply lovely and Amazing. Thanks for sending this video to me!
But the drum-beat really destroys it. As it is a drum machine and do not have the spirit of a real drummer, it just feels like annoying background noise and destroys all that you are playing. Next time: either you leave out the drums, or make a complete arrangement with composed/arranged drums and a jazz-bass.
But forgetting about the drums, you are one astonishing pianist! Keep it up!
Nice :)

Nice interpretation. The keyboard sounds OK, but I agree with the other comments that U really want to be on a Grand --- especially in the beginning.

Nice playing. However, the piece is supposed to be romantic
(one of the all time great romantic songs, as sung for example
by Nat King Cole)
and somewhat sad so jazzing it up doesn't convey the meaning of the
original.
