sneeze i remember when i was like 7 years old i got a gameboy color i LOVED the grapichs and my first game to it EVER was pokemon silver i miss those days. of course i steel have it and somehow i got to surf without knowing it. now the game reset its self every time i'll wait 2 hours

I don't know why you guys think one is better than the other, they're both gonna be great. And besides, who says kyogre's better? Ever hit kyogre with a solarbeam with groudon's drought? It's devastatingly powerful, plus you have fissure and earthquake with STAB.

Anyway, I'll be getting both, but my first pokemon game was silver so I like it more. Plus the fact that you can catch a level 70 ho oh compared to a level 45 one is good too.

I always chose Chikarita as my starter even though if you start a Chikarita the game is really hard. ^^ I've always liked it better than Cyndquil or Totadile

Best Starters

Series1: Venusaur or Blastoise because even though Venusaur lacks speed i have always 1~2 hit a Charizard in no time.

Series2: Typloshion or Feraligatr because Feraligatr can one hit Meganium with Ice Punch or Ice Beam easily.

Series 3: Blaziken or Swampert because i have beaten the game and elite4 with only Blaziken and Swampert is insanely good.

Series4: None...WTF Happened Nintendo...Lamest starters since 2nd series.. HORRIBLE. but its Infernape.

K- Bulbasaur (Everyone loves Charizard, but I'd stick a Venusaur with Sludgebomb in my party)

J- Cyndaquil (Blast Burn Typhlosion > You)

H- Mudkip (I liek Mudkip)

S- Chimchar (Monferno can conquer the first two gyms with ease. And fire types rule anyway)

im goi'n fire all of the way charmander (fire flyin not bad cyndaquil my favurite of all POKéMON's and for hoenn torchic since the fight type is good in most og the gyms and vs. elite four plus! it can learn almost every gyms weakness (ist double kick 2nd. peck third only 1 magneton double kick 4th. rock tomb 5 double kick 5th. rock tomb blaze kick (skarmory) and maybe some more for the last ones) and chimchar coz i luv munkys!

i have the same problom no need to get upset alright there is something in your game simimilar to a memory card.its about the size of a nickle and its most likely broken the only thing i can tell you is go to game stop or any other big gaming store Game dude EB games ectand ask them if they can replace it if not then buy a new one there it should cost around $20.00 bucks or less in the us so thats it and sorry for your game

... you can fix the save thing, you know... just search pokemon G/S/C internal battery fix online and you'll find out what happened to it and how to fix it! it works great, and you can do it without soldering! i might make a tutorial on how to do it as well, so look out for it!
